Three things in particular I think you&#8217;ll feel right away: it&#8217;s faster, it&#8217;s steadier, and the filtering is smarter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It feels snappier, especially in big libraries.<\/strong> I consolidated the layout chrome that every page was carrying its own copy of. Reading view, library, settings, admin \u2014 they all draw from the same template now. Less duplicate code means a thinner build, which means pages paint faster when you click around. I also retired a stack of sharing components and UI primitives that nothing reached anymore. There&#8217;s now a dead-code check that flags unused code automatically, so the build stays lean going forward.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It doesn&#8217;t fall over on the edge cases you used to hit once in a while.<\/strong> If you paged through the library to an enormous page number, the request used to silently break. If you uploaded a comic with a giant issue number somewhere in the metadata, it overflowed internally. If a session got into a confused state mid-login, you could end up <em>appearing<\/em> logged-in to a session that had actually expired. I went through each of those paths and put proper bounds on them. Every page now has a real error boundary too \u2014 if something does throw, you see a friendly explanation with a retry button instead of a blank screen. Forgot-password flows retry on temporary service hiccups instead of telling you to start over.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And then there&#8217;s filtering, which got the biggest upgrade of the three.<\/strong> The library&#8217;s tag picker works properly on phones now \u2014 it opens a scrollable panel with a visible Apply button, instead of overflowing your screen. Admin table filters can search the full database, not just the rows on the current page, which means chasing a specific upload across a five-thousand-comic archive actually works. Sharing tables filter by status and date the way they always should have. Library, settings, and admin all use the same responsive filter pattern, so finding things feels consistent everywhere you go.<\/p>\n<p>2.1 lands soon. I&#8217;ll post again the moment it ships.
