I have been quietly building something on the side: https://comics.starbugstone.com/.

It is a CBZ comic book reader. You upload your own files, read them in a clean interface, and your progress is saved between sessions.

Why I built it:
– I wanted a clean way to read my digital comic collection across devices.
– I did not want to depend on someone else platform for my own files.
– I wanted something I could tinker with and bend to my taste.

It is still early — features are landing as I go — but it is at a point where I wanted to share it.
