Projects

These are the apps and games I’m building as Starbugstone. Start with the links below to try a project or understand what is available. The dated development posts show how each one got here.

Status checked: 19 September 2026. Browser apps, downloadable releases and development prototypes are listed separately within each description. A feature on GitHub’s main branch may still be ahead of the public build.

Panel Page Flip — a reader for your own comic collection

Panel Page Flip is a web app for uploading, organising and reading digital comics. Each account has its own library, reading progress, folders and tags. The project supports CBZ, CBR, CB7, CBT and PDF; the formats offered by an installation depend on its server support and administrator settings.

Use it when you already have comic files and want to read them through the same account on a computer or phone. It does not supply a catalogue of comics. Sharing grants access to an existing file and can be withdrawn; only share material you have permission to share.

Prospect Hollow — mining puzzles and a growing town

Prospect Hollow combines match-3 mining puzzles with a small 3D town. Complete puzzles, earn resources and finish building projects as the settlement develops through eight eras, from the Frontier period to Connected City. It was previously called Crystal Cascade, and the browser game still uses that name in its hosting address.

The public browser build includes the eight-era progression. The latest visual work gives later periods more distinct architecture and shows workers rebuilding the mine during era transitions. Progress is kept in the browser; use save export and import to make a backup or move it to another device.

Rivet Reach — survival, building and automation

Rivet Reach is a first-person voxel sandbox built in Unity. Explore, gather materials, craft and build a workshop with separate item, fluid, electrical and control connections.

Public download: Windows alpha 0.0.1. That release has session-only progress: quitting loses the world and inventory. Next planned release: alpha 0.1.0, replacing the earlier 0.0.2 plan. Persistent saves, fishing, chickens, beds, bulk crates, configurable item routing and weather are on the development branch. They should not be assumed to be in the 0.0.1 ZIP.

AI Playground — a browser interface for OpenRouter

AI Playground lets you try AI chat, streaming responses, image generation with compatible models and conversation branches. Connect through OpenRouter and choose a model. Chats are stored in your browser; model requests go through OpenRouter rather than running locally.

Paid models are hidden until you opt in. The app displays usage and allowance information and asks for confirmation before paid requests under the relevant model settings. Charges and key limits belong to your OpenRouter account.

Vaultbreakers in the Shatterbelt — combat prototype

A science-fiction arcade brawler built around modular combat rigs. The current Dock 9 prototype contains three connected combat zones with melee attacks, shooting, guarding, dodging and checkpoints. Wider progression, equipment cards and multiplayer remain outside that prototype.

This is a Unity development project. The repository explains how to open the Dock 9 scene; the article shows the controls and the limits of the prototype.

Granny Racer — arcade racing prototype

Grannies race modified walking frames with boosters. The current Unity proof of concept focuses on one racer, the Quiet Sunday test track and a boost system that overheats the slippers. Opponents, combat and finished environments remain later work.
